(NASDAQ: BKNG), is an industry leader with a unique insight into the world of hospitality. We champion restaurants, bars, wineries, and other venues around the world, helping them attract guests, manage capacity, improve operations and maximize revenue.

Every employee at OpenTable has a tangible impact on what we do and how we do it. You’ll also be part of a global network that includes OpenTable and KAYAK's portfolio of travel brands including Swoodoo, checkfelix, momondo, Cheapflights, Mundi and HotelsCombined.

Hospitality is all about taking care of others, and it defines our culture. You’ll work in a welcoming and inclusive environment, and get the benefits, flexibility, and support you need to succeed.

As an HR Generalist you will be a key member of the Global People Partner Team, providing partnership and coaching to all levels including senior leaders and individual contributors. You will collaborate on global initiatives – supporting a key business area within the company to ensure seamless service delivery and strategic HR influence to this group.

This is an extraordinary opportunity in which you will partner with the Global Restaurant Sales & Services team, reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner who supports the wider organization:

In this role, you will:

  • Work as a global strategic partner to our RSS teams, of approximately 400+ employees located across all OpenTable offices both in the US and internationally (UK and Australia).
  • Responsible for building trust-based relationships with people managers and individual contributors.
  • Advise and support managers to address issues impacting the business, including mitigating risk and managing situations that result in the best possible outcomes for the company, teams, and people.
  • Partner with People Team colleagues globally to implement strategies that align with and drive company objectives.
  • Partner with the wider P&C team on annual/cyclical programs, including engagement surveys, performance management and merit cycle processes.
  • Build organizations that support growth through organizational design and planning, building accountability, and structuring ways of working and making decisions.
  • Strategically partner with the business to craft and deliver targeted solutions, including change management and team building.
  • Work closely with managers to develop their capability to build and lead teams effectively.

Please apply if you have:

  • At least 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources professional with progressively growing responsibilities.
  • Experience supporting a tech organization is preferred
  • Ability to build solid relationships with the managers, the People Team, cross-functional internal partners and external providers/vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive in a high-performance environment.
  • Possess a sound sense of ownership and accountability, and an ability to work in the grey - not everything is defined here and so we are looking for someone with a proactive and problem solving approach.
  • A client service bias, meeting and anticipating client needs.
  • Strong business insight – understand the daily challenges the business faces and be able to make an impact.
  • You will bring superb communication skills and serve as an ambassador for the People Team.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • BA/BS and/or relevant experience that demonstrates ability to influence attainment of business outcomes through people management and relationships.

About Our Team:
