About the Role

We are looking for a FP&A Senior Manager to build and then own the systems and processes to plan Ramp’s next phase of growth. This role will be responsible for overseeing a majority of Ramp’s financial planning and analysis function, including annual budgeting, performance analysis, and headcount planning. You will also lead and/or support other ad hoc projects, with regular exposure to Ramp’s leadership team and other cross-functional partners. Ramp’s business model is increasing in complexity, and we are looking to add a seasoned FP&A leader who can help develop and implement a Fortune 500-level FP&A infrastructure within a 3+ year old startup.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead quarterly close, forecast and budget planning cycles; partner with business leaders across the organization to resolve competing business priorities 
  • Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial results; preparing internal / external reports analyzing performance by business unit and customer segment
  • Identify and drive initiatives to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting and reporting tools / systems
  • Communicate business objectives and performance to key stakeholders, including executives and investors
  • Influence direction / mandate and help build out FP&A / Corporate Finance team
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimize ROI

What You Need

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or similar
  • Extreme attention to detail with a high regard for precision
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Track record of developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external partners

Nice to Haves

  • Prior public company experience
  • Experience building and managing a team of at least 3 direct reports 
  • Proven expertise with Looker, SQL, and/or Python
