About the Role

Ramp is growing at a very fast pace. We are building a extremely talented business systems application engineering team to build out the world class systems that will scale. You will be working as a part of the growth engineering organization and will work with business tech operations, sales marketing and product teams. This is a very important role and an opportunity to contribute to the foundation of the business systems engineering

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test and deploy applications on the salesforce platform.
  • Make cognizant decisions on utilizing out of the box automation vs customizations
  • Work closely with Leaders in the business tech and cross functional teams to deliver solutions focussed on solving business problems
  • Hands on developing applications utilizing apex, triggers, aura, lwc and Rest APIs
  • Work on VS Code, Github and CICD process for maintaining code sanity
  • Write technical specifications documents, including architecture diagrams, data model diagrams, process flows, sequence diagrams.
  • Work on user stories related to ongoing projects, tech-debt, process optimization and performance improvement
  • Work closely with the sustaining team and proactively plan on the KT processes

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 4 years working with the Salesforce platform
  • Experience working in lead, Contact, Account, opportunity management, and Campaign Management
  • Strong Experience on Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Triggers.
  • Strong knowledge  of developing on lightning web components 
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of APIs and Integrations with Salesforce
  • A good understanding of synchronous/asynchronous methods, streaming API’s and publish/subscribe design patterns and architectural patterns.
  • Good understanding of version control processes (check-in/checkout/merge/pull etc.). Experience in GitHub/Bitbucket and branching strategy is a plus.
  • Solid understanding or implementation knowledge of CI/CD processes. 
  • Understanding Salesforce governance limits and code coverage.
  • Follow unit-testing best practices and be capable of coding for positive/negative scenarios.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You need to be awesome

Nice to Haves

  • Experience of Marketing Tech tools like Marketo / Hubspot
  • Knowledge of data pipelines and Integrations
  • Strong Experience on Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Triggers.
  • Ipaas/Integration experience
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
