About the Role

Twitch is looking for a Salesforce Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure team. You will develop solutions to improve the efficiency of the Business Operations team by enhancing our Salesforce CRM instance. You will mentor the technical team on Salesforce tooling, development and best practices . You will work with users to identify technical and reporting needs within the team, and will manage the hands-on delivery of new features and integrations to user specifications. You will report to the Senior Software Development Manager of the Infrastructure Software Development Team.

This position can be located in Salt Lake City, UT.

You Will:

  • Design and develop enhancements to the Salesforce instance to support process automation
  • Build integrations with other business and internal product APIs
  • Write maintainable code with test coverage, working in a professional software engineering environment (with source control, dev/stage/prod release cycle, continuous deployment).
  • Participate in technical discussions, influencing smart decisions about when to use configuration vs. coding.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge of Salesforce system architecture and development best practices to scale an instance supporting global users across multiple teams
  • Lead iterative feedback sessions, helping the business provide input on work in progress. Partner with Salesforce Admins for hybrid solutions

You Have:

  • 4 + years of hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and customization (Apex, LWC, Visualforce)
  • Experience with Salesforce data loading tools, web services, middleware (such as Dell Boomi, Informatica, Tasktop)
  • Experience in a client or internal customer-facing technical role working with a team of software/system engineers
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance or similar; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Go
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience in Version Control and continuous delivery systems (such as Git and Jenkins)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
