About the Role

The purpose of this position is to manage multiple responsibilities of building operations and maintenance for our headquarters in San Francisco, CA. You will oversee facilities management, administration, and workplace services for our office in San Francisco which consists of186,000 sq ft over 9 floors. You will play a critical role in supporting Twitch's culture by focusing on the employee and visitor experience at our offices. Do you tend to see things that others do not even notice? Our ideal candidate is a natural that recognizes issues and resolves them collaboratively and urgently. You will report to the Global Facilities manager and have 1 full-time employee and multiple onsite vendors who reports to this role.

You Will:

• Develop and oversee overall budget for facilities management of SF office.
• Oversee all facilities maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Identify and manage onsite vendor relationships.
• Partner with leadership on emergency preparedness and business continuity protocols.
• Oversee security personnel and liaison with parent company for security issues.
• Create and manage an Emergency Response Team for all sites.
• Provide appropriate office wide communications through newsletters, emails, and displays.
• Manage a small team.
• Manages and coaches facilities staff to provide excellent service levels.
• Implement any future of workplace strategy solutions as part of the workplace team.
• Determine the services needed to support the total workplace environment.
• Review operational processes to improve productivity.

You Have:

• 8+ years of real estate and facilities management experience for a team of 400+ employees with 3+ years of people management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing operating budgets and financial management skills.
• Communicate workplace policy to all staff via slack, email and internal meetings.
• Focus on service and provide solutions
• Vendor management selection and management experience.
• Experienced in health, safety and compliance standards.
• Identifies issues and thoughtful in resolution
• Must be positive, reliable, and a team player.
• Experience implementing good workplace practices in improving office environments.
