About the Role

Twitch's Original Content department is re-imagining premium content creation from the ground up. Our mission is to produce interactive content formats with creators that deepen bonds and engage their audiences in new ways. Building on our momentum in 2020, we are looking to expand operations to create a global platform matching Twitch's diverse community of creators and audience. This includes building new products and businesses that improve financial health for the program and fuel more opportunities for our customers. As the Associate, you'll report to the Business & Strategy Lead, Original Content. You'll help determine and scale growth initiatives using analytical rigor, financial knowledge, and a desire for impact. The primary competencies for this role are a strong financial skills – understanding of profit and revenue drivers and analysis, strategic planning, and the ability to navigate essential business and operational challenges.

This position can be located in Los Angeles, CA, Irvine, CA, or San Francisco, CA.

You Will:

  • Partner with Sales to identify and consolidate revenue insights that inform actions
  • Project manage key strategic initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., content product, content tech, marketing, and business ops) to ensure implementation
  • Develop and operationalize strategy for Original Content that improves business outputs, including annual/quarterly goal setting and developing new business opportunities
  • Develop complex financial and operational models for new initiatives to inform product feature and business line prioritization
  • Create insightful presentations that summarize content analysis and presenting them to groups of product managers and leadership
  • Track content performance and compile content portfolio analyses for partners who are engaged in future content investments and content marketing campaigns
  • Educate the greater Original Content team on understanding data and making data-driven decisions
  • Improve operational processes to ensure better operational cadence and scalability in a growing department

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in finance, management consulting, deal analysis, or a strategic operations role

  • Demonstrated ability to build financial modeling (e.g., building models from scratch) and think analytically and strategically to ramp up quickly on new business pursuits
  • Collaborative team player excited to work cross-functionally and build relationships
  • Strong interest in creator economy and entertainment industry
  • An owner who also knows how to/when to deploy trade-offs
  • Comfort with communicating recommendations to senior leadership
  • Undergraduate or Graduate studies in Business, Finance, or Economics
