About the Role

As a product designer working directly with the Growth team you will play a critical role in acquiring, retaining, and monetizing our users through a customer-focused approach to experimentation. You have a proven track record of influencing business outcomes through an iterative and well-reasoned creative process. You’ll research and develop informed opinions about our various target audiences, their personas, and then design experiences that engage and educate across web and product surfaces.

This is a role for a self-starter IC who sits at the cross-section of product thinking, interaction, visual design, and customer experience. The Growth Designer is a system oriented thinker and excellent at prioritization (speed vs sweating the details). You’ll balance delight with conversion and translate company objectives into prioritized initiatives. You’ll be tasked with translating our brand strategy and positioning, and partner closely with Product and Engineering to concept, ideate, build, and test the growth experiences that fuel the fastest growing company in NYC.

  • Work directly with our Brand Studio to consistently reflect our story and brand strategy, and incorporate insights from your work back into our brand.
  • Collaborate across various business functions to bring our product, brand, and experience to life for current and soon-to-be-customers
  • Be opinionated and leverage a direct line to our customers to get insights. Explore solutions, create prototypes, and dive into user feedback/data to identify points of friction and opportunities for improvement for every initiative.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the design team to evolve our long-term product vision, design systems, brand guidelines, and internal design collaboration process.
  • Participate in day-to-day pod rituals like design crit, story creation, weekly stand-ups, etc.
  • Help us hire more amazing people to grow the design team and bring diverse perspectives to our design process

  • Minimum 3 years of tech/startup or digital product agency experience or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing funnel for growth through design and data-driven experimentation.
