As our first Product Manager for Growth, you will have the opportunity to build growth initiatives and practices to fuel the next-level growth of Vanta. You will lead our product efforts for onboarding, product engagement, and revenue expansion to maximize business impact. You will dive deep into the security and compliance space to make it easier, faster, and (dare we say) delightful for Vanta’s customers to achieve their goals.
You’ll join a small, but growing team of PMs and will play a critical role in shaping Vanta's product strategy and product team culture. If you are a builder of customer-delighting products who thrives while having an impact at a high-growth company, we would love to hear from you!
What you’ll do as a Sr. Growth Product Manager at Vanta:
  • Develop the strategy, vision, and roadmap for the growth team at Vanta
  • Own the customer onboarding, engagement, and in-product monetization lifecycle
  • Drive the creation, experimentation, and optimization of product-led growth initiatives
  • Define activation, retention, up-sell revenue, and referral metrics for success and analyze the impact of growth initiatives
  • Contribute to developing a deeper culture of data analysis, research, experimentation, and sharing rapid learnings across the company
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and success teams to create the ideal customer journey
  • Drive projects from conception through launch, with a focus on consistent execution, iteration, and stakeholder collaboration
  • Help to define and shape Vanta's product team culture as we grow
How to be successful in this role:
  • Have 4+ years of product management experience at a high-growth, scaling company, including 1+ year of growth product specifically
  • Strong understanding and experience implementing growth and product-led growth strategies and practices
  • Have an ability to perform data analysis using data analysis tools and SQL to prioritize and find opportunities for growth
  • Possess a strong sense of technical acumen, or familiarity with technical products
  • Be deeply curious, empathetic, and user-centric, with a knack for driving effective collaboration amongst your stakeholders
  • Have an ability to balance business acumen, strategic product planning with consistent execution, and project management
  • Have prior experience in the security space or interest in learning about security

About Vanta
We started Vanta in 2016 as Equifax had lost every American's social security number, Home Depot had leaked its customers' credit card numbers to hackers, and Facebook admitted that it irresponsibly sent user data to third parties who tried to influence the US election. It was clear that security and privacy had become mainstream issues, and that we all increasingly relied on cloud services to store everything from our personal photos to our communications at work.
Vanta's mission is to be the layer of trust on top of these services, and to secure the internet, increase trust in software companies, and keep consumer data safe.
We do this by building an automated head of security for technology companies, and we use that system to both help a company secure itself and to prove their security to others.
If we succeed in our mission, it should feel irresponsible for users to put data into a product that isn't certified by Vanta, and irresponsible for companies to collect data without using Vanta to secure and monitor themselves.
