About the Role

The Original Content team at Twitch manages some of the most exciting content and new ideas in the industry. We're looking for a Sr Global Program Manager to manage a team of program managers, while overseeing the end-to-end execution of events and carrying out the community strategy for Twitch Rivals. You will report to the Head of Twitch Rivals and coordinate with our current product, production, and strategic talent teams. The Sr Global Program Manager, Twitch Rivals role will be a competitive entertainment expert who is passionate about creator-focused content across the globe and loves developing people. You have managed multiple teams to build some of the most creative events in the competitive entertainment industry, and are comfortable having content development conversations with some of the biggest creators on Twitch, while also discussing event execution with AAA game publishers. You will also develop the Twitch Rivals community strategy. You have experience building communities and know how to support different groups within a community. You will follow gaming trends, communicate with creators big and small, collaborate with teams, partner with game publishers and internal departments, and fix any process issues. You are a passionate community member for a few games, and can pick up a new game if called upon. We're looking for someone excited to help redefine the future of creator content with Twitch!

This position can be located in Los Angeles, CA, San Francisco, CA, or Irvine, CA.

You Will:

• Manage Program Managers and ensure goals are on track
• Oversee end-to-end execution of all Twitch Rivals events measured by Average Minute Audience
• Build a community strategy to give the Twitch Rivals community the tools to grow organically
• Develop into a manager whose team is free to focus on building the best shows possible
• Improve show building processes with your team and the production vendors
• Prioritize issues and keep your team on track
• Track budgeting with the Twitch Rivals production manager

You Have:

• 8+ years of competitive entertainment experience
• Led multiple creator-focused competitive gaming events from start to finish and have experience iterating on those events based on customer feedback
• Built or actively participate in online community groups
• 4+ years of experience with both Microsoft and Google app Suites

Bonus Points:

• Collaborated with multiple teams and vendors to create authentic content
• Worked with abstract ideas to create structured ideas, often with limited information at hand
• Shown passion for creator-focused content across a diverse range of communities
• Technical experience in show production
• Streamed on Twitch
