About the Role

Since launching in early 2020, Ramp has experienced exponential organic growth, fueled in part by extensive media coverage. We now want to expand our communications program so that we can even further raise awareness of Ramp through the press. We’re looking for a Communications Associate who can support execution of strategic and effective communications programs.

As a key member of Ramp’s Communications team, you will work with our Head of Communications to help tell Ramp's story in ways that resonate with our key stakeholders. This is a high-profile, high-impact, and hands on role. You’ll have the opportunity to shape and execute Ramp’s communications strategy. 

What You’ll Do

  • Build and nurture relationships with Ramp’s media contacts (finance, business, and technology), develop and pitch compelling narratives
  • Coordinate with our PR agency of record, providing ongoing guidance and ensuring alignment with Ramp’s objectives
  • Own and manage our awards program to ensure Ramp is positioned as an industry leader
  • Build relationships and partner with internal stakeholders to understand and anticipate communications needs
  • Manage logistics for media interviews, including preparing background materials and briefing spokespeople
  • Maintain Ramp’s press page, ensuring content is relevant and up to date
  • Stay on top of finance industry developments, news, media moves, and trends.   

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 2 years experience in communications or public relations, either in-house or at an agency
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
