As a Software developer, you will report to the Engineering Manager and build solutions that affect millions of users and broadcasters. You will provide technical leadership, architectural guidance to design and implement the next generation of Payments offerings and International expansion. You will be a key driver of the team's technical and operational excellence and provide mentorship across multiple teams while working closely with other cross-functional teams.

You Will:

  • Work with leads and other engineers to design, develop commerce/payments platform and services
  • Customer-focused to contribute towards timely project deliveries with exceptional quality
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to clarify product requirements
  • Improve engineering processes and tools to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Mentor and cultivate junior engineers

You Have:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science OR minimum 1+ years of professional experience in software development 
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, data modeling and schema design
  • 1-2 years (max) of professional software development experience (internships do qualify as professional experience) 
  • Proficient experience level in one or more of the following languages: Python, Go, Java, C++, React, Typescript OR equivalent object oriented programming languages
  • Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, OR Azure ecosystem

  • Previous experience in commerce/payments domain
  • Twitch user, broadcaster, or partner or experience in the gaming industry
