Are you a Sales Development Rep (SDR) looking to make a switch to marketing? You will have the opportunity to apply and grow your skills in a modern marketing team. It’s not about simple lead generation, but about approaching demand generation across the entire funnel: create, capture, convert and accelerate. 

This is a unique role focused on converting pipeline – one that combines the experience of a sales development rep with the growth opportunity of a demand generation marketer. This role will sit within the marketing demand generation organization. The ideal candidate has:

  • A working knowledge and experience as a SDR, and understands their day-to-day role
  • A curiosity for bridging the gap between demand marketing and the front line of sales
  • A growth mindset for learning and applying account based sales and marketing tactics for adoption within the SDR organization

In one year, you’ll know you’re successful if you have:

  • Programmatically created global SDR outreach sequences that align to core demand generation campaigns
  • Ideated and experimented with SDR outreach playbooks using multiple channels, including online chat, direct mail, social media, voice and video.
  • Developed SDR post-event process and tactics for webinars, field and industry events
  • Earned the trust and confidence of your colleagues, and established a productive relationship with SDRs and SDR management on lead quality and creating a feedback loop.
  • Obsessed about creating delightful and helpful “conversion” experiences in service to our prospects
  • Built in a data-driven analysis into your decision making and process
  • Started to build in an account-based marketing approach to your tactics and campaigns

A background like this helps:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a SDR, with a record of consistently achieving quota
  • Writing SDR outreach sequences in a tone of voice that results in new prospect relationships and pipeline booked
  • Proficiency in SalesLoft, Outreach, or related tool
  • Proficiency in building lead lists and reports in SFDC
  • You have a thirst for staying up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in B2B marketing (a passion for cryptocurrency or blockchain technology is a plus!)

  • Employees in the EU and the UK are allowed to travel internationally for internal meetings to any country deemed “green or amber” by the EU and the UK authorities. All attendees for Chainalysis in-person events or meetings will be required to adhere to the following guidelines:  
    • International travel will only be permitted if you receive approval from both your manager and Executive Leader
    • You must familiarize yourself and comply with any screening/safety protocols imposed by the entity/individual hosting the in-person meeting or event
    • You must comply with any and all safety guidelines and travel restrictions established by applicable law  
    • If you are in close or proximate contact with others at the event/customer site and test positive for COVID-19, you must immediately notify the People Team and avoid contact with others for 10 days
