The role

Senior Partner Engineers are part of our Partner Team, working with MessageBird Partners, leading enablement, evangelism, and opportunity support. You own and drive the technology relationship with technical audiences of all kinds within our Partners. You are an experienced engineer with an established track record working with partners to understand their portfolio and go-to-market strategy and leveraging platform technologies to deliver customer value.

You will lead the technology engagement with partners who influence demand and vendor choice. These include existing and newly formed technology alliances such as technology providers and cloud hyperscalers and partnerships with Global and Regional System Integrators, Ad Tech & Digital Marketing Agencies, Independent Software Vendors, Industry Partners, Integration Partners and Referral Partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Become an expert in MessageBird platform technologies and how to match those with our partners' existing offerings through compelling use cases.
  • Lead the development of technical capabilities within our partners and own the technical relationships within those partners–from engineer to CTO.
  • Own the technical aspects of solutions, including technical discovery, demostrations, proofs-of-concept, prototypes, and product integrations.
  • Work closely with Partners and Product teams to define and develop the relevant use cases leveraging the MessageBird platform.
  • Build, improve and scale technical enablement strategies and approaches for partners.
  • Represent our partners through structured feedback with MessageBird’s product teams to shape the further of the platform with a partner lens.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of demonstrated success in an external-facing consultative technical role.
  • Proven track record of software development projects, and excellent documentation.
  • Ideally, a background in a similar partner-facing role working with various partner types.
  • Highly communicative, technology executive presence, and team-oriented.
  • Knowledge of PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, public cloud, and related industry and technical concepts.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with APIs and SDKs.
  • Experience in the CPaaS industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally (25-30%).
