About the Role

The Head of Product Ops at Twitch will be at the center of Twitch's Product culture, reporting directly to the CPO, you will develop a thriving product organization that attracts and develops world class product talent. You should understand the development process from Engineering to Product and Design and be an expert in what makes Product Managers tick. Our future Head of Product Ops will create processes which onboard, develop and celebrate PMs across the company. You will be an important connection point for multiple product teams distributed across the globe. You know how to translate the needs of the team into programs and processes which improve the job of Product Managers across the company.

This position can be located in San Francisco, Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA and New York, NY

You Will:

  • Be responsible for Twitch's programs for mentoring & developing Product Managers
  • Keep the product organization in sync by facilitating company-wide sharing of roadmaps, launches, successes and insights
  • Create new programs aimed at improving product culture or bringing new Product and diverse talent to Twitch
  • Be the glue between Product teams across the company
  • Standardize our on and off-boarding practices, tools and templates
  • Ensure that every Product Manager has the tools that they need to do their job
  • Create and lead recognition and reward practices for ICs and managers throughout the PM team

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in project/program management
  • An obsession with the health and happiness of your team (and yourself)
  • Communicate with radical honesty and tact
  • You've demonstrated the ability to bring teams together from multiple disciplines

  • Know the ins and outs of JIRA and can show others the way
  • You've worked on products that build community or are well-versed in community building

The base pay range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut and Washington is $206,100 - $251,900 (hr/yr) and in New York City is $226,710 - $277,090 (hr/yr). Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
