About the Role

The localization team is growing and you will play a key role in this expansion.

We are looking for an experienced Localization Quality Program Manager to help us ensure our users have the same accurate and enjoyable experience in all international markets.

You will establish a localization quality assurance framework to support Twitch's localization efforts in 27 languages. You will collaborate with external localization vendors and internal Product, Marketing and Engineering teams.

You will report to the Director of Localization.

You can work on the east coast, we have an office in New York, NY; and are remote flexible.

You Will:

  • Build scalable localization quality programs for new products or products' updates, and Marketing campaigns
  • Assess current localization workflows and create scalable language quality assurance frameworks
  • Collaborate with Engineering and external vendors to bring programs in areas related to tool optimization, and automation
  • Establish Quality Assurance workflows to guide external LQA vendors through testing
  • Determine Localization QA scoring practices to ensure our product and marketing assets are localized within the quality standards we established
  • Evaluate, prioritize and ensure the fixing of Internationalization and localization issues
  • Track vendors' performance through quality reporting metrics
  • Partner with local marketing teams in APAC, EMEA and LATAM to understand potential localization quality issues and help solve them promptly

You Have:

  • 5 + years experience managing localization quality assurance programs
  • Experience managing localization quality assurance programs
  • Knowledge of internationalization and localization standards, and localization testing best practices and tools
  • A passion to grow processes and adapt to ongoing project needs
  • Experience working with global teams, markets, and diverse cultures
  • Excellent verbal, written, (English full fluency and fluency in at least 1 additional language)
  • Working knowledge of JIRA

  • Knowledge of Smartling (or similar translation management system)

The pay range for this position in Colorado and Connecticut is $ 76,000 - $127,000 yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act and CT House Bill Number 6380. Base pay information is based on market location.
