About the Role

The Twitch Corporate Accounting team is an essential part of our month-end close and financial reporting processes. We are looking for a Fixed Asset Manager to manage our procedures around recording fixed assets, ASC 842 lease accounting, and internally developed software capitalization. You will work with the accounting team and your business partners to ensure that our fixed assets are complete and accurate. You will provide transparency by maintaining the internal fixed assets Wiki, sending out recurring communication updates, and maintaining SOP documentation. You will report to the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting.

You Will:

  • Support the month-end close activities including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Facilities, and IT to ensure that fixed assets are maintained and create a strategy with business partners regarding asset events (acquisition, transfer, and disposal)
  • Track and analyze project costs for long term construction and infrastructure build outs (CIP)
  • Be the subject matter expert on internally developed and internal use software capitalization and leases (ASC 350-40/50 & 842)

You Have:

  • Minimum 6+ years of public/private accounting experience
  • An appropriate certification in accounting or auditing is strongly preferred, including a CPA, CA and/or CIA
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, procurement tools, and business process best practices
  • Manipulate large sets of data and have Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets), use of Tableau, Alteryx, or Quicksight is a plus
  • Articulate and explain complex data flows through multiple systems
  • Experience with large ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, and/or Oracle
