We're looking for a Principal growth designer to join a new cross-functional team focusing on product-led growth and free trials. If you're the kind of designer who loves analyzing analytics and qualitative data, knows how to get creative with experiments, and designs engaging, personalized onboarding flows, we want to hear from you! This project is one of our highest priorities in 2022 and beyond, with direct impact on revenue. We're bringing design on at the beginning, so you'll have time to research, learn the space, and develop your own ideas and insights before we write any code.
Many companies promise UX a seat at the table, but Expel delivers. Our designers take a lead role in discovery, research, and feature definition and are deeply involved during development, rollout, and adoption.
In this role, you'll craft a compelling, personalized free trial experience that pulls customers into our product sooner, and gets them to those critical "a-ha" moments faster. Rome wasn't built in a day, of course, so you'll start by conducting research and experiments to learn what works—and what doesn't!
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Can be 100% remote in mainland US time zones.
Pay range: $137,500 USD to $198,000 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.
We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.
Our headquarters is in Herndon, Virginia, however our team is mostly remote, and we have full support for remote interaction. We realize that while there is benefit to in-person interaction, good people don’t all live in Northern Virginia.
