About the Role

Twitch is looking for an experienced Security Manager to manage projects involving physical security systems design, specification, and technical oversight for our global infrastructure including datacenters, leased collocations, and other types of facilities. You will report to the Data Center Security Manager and will work directly with our teams and security vendors and project managers to achieve accurate high-quality services.

You will manage the on-site operational physical security of our Data Centers and will have knowledge of access control systems and process, guard force management, reporting security metrics, security audits and incident reporting.

You will also manage compliance requirements with international standards such as (SOC1, SOC2 and ISO27001). You will also manage the implementation of new processes and adherence to existing Amazon procedures relating to security guarding, media security, CCTV monitoring and the protection of customer data.

You will have people management skills and will build relationships with partners to maintain the security and safety of Amazon. As part of a global leader in this space you will also work with peers in other geographic regions and will travel periodically to perform your responsibilities.

You Will:

  • Investigate site incidents and provide detailed reports
  • Analyze situations, make quick decisions and form action plans
  • Maintain important performance metrics
  • Work with security service providers
  • Train others in security procedures
  • Travel locally and internationally
  • Coordinate physical security (security services, access control and CCTV systems, site surveys), investigations, risk/threat assessment
  • Oversee employees and contractors performing specific security goals and monitor vendor performance.
  • Implement and approve physical security for white space datacenter spaces
  • Investigate site incidents and provide detailed reports
  • Oversee projects to ensure they are delivered within budget and following established standards and deadlines.
  • Manage important performance metrics
  • Work with security service providers
  • Train others in security procedures
  • Travel locally and internationally

You Have:

  • 5+ years of security operations and/or law enforcement experience, including training others in security procedures
  • 2+ years of experience with security software systems such as Lenel
  • 2+years of experience of video surveillance equipment
  • Experience working in a high security environment
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Conflict resolution training

  • Experience dealing with customers during problem resolution
  • Understanding of distributed and service oriented architectures
  • CPP, PSP, PMP, CPR/AED certifications
