About the Role

Twitch is building the future of interactive entertainment. The services we create for our users have deep, lasting effects on their lives. As a Senior Technical Program Manager reporting to the Director of Engineering for Ad Products, you will oversee (rather than just "manage") the development and launch of new capabilities within our ad serving and video platform. You partner with engineering managers, engineers, product managers and other diverse leaders to advocate for our strategy and plan. You have experience with the mountain you need to climb in order to launch products, and you celebrate and have fun when you reach the top!

You Will:

  • Be an accountable owner for a large, high impact and product initiative.
  • Guide multiple large-scale work streams at the same time
  • Be a leader of the team. You will apply your ability to be well versed in understanding trade-offs, knowing how best to evaluate and communicate them
  • Dive deep with engineers into our applications. You will work with the engineers, and they respect your technical feedback
  • Apply your experience that process holds value, but you do not operate at the mercy of it.

You Have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical program manager capacity managing the delivery of consumer-facing web applications
  • Technical knowledge - as in you understand what the buzzwords mean
  • Develop productive working relationships and lead to successful product delivery with product managers, engineering teams and partners from different departments
  • Experience with product development methodologies (Waterfall and Agile), and apply them to manage programs

Bonus Points

  • BS degree in computer science
  • Experience as a Software Developer / Engineer.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure
