The Professional Services (PS) Program Manager role is part of a new function within the Product Commercialization & GTM practice. You will be integral in helping to build this function from the ground up, as the end-to-end process owner for our Professional Services team specifically responsible for new GTM opportunities.

The PS PM will work closely with Professional Services product and operations leaders, and cross-functionally with stakeholders across the Partners / Cloud Marketplace team, Cloud Engineering/Billing, Finance/Accounting, Deal Strategy, Business Operations, and our CRM/ERP teams to execute growth projects, new products and features, and operational efficiency projects. You will help define and execute on the PS roadmap.

You will be a go-to person in terms of understanding the operational aspects of our Professional Services offerings, booking PS deals, the downstream effects of any changes to our offerings, as well as be a subject matter expert on each of our new PS products & services. Together with PS leaders you will ideate and drive innovation in how PS is sold in MongoDB, working to reduce friction for MongoDB customers to get the help they need. The role will also be responsible for developing our operational procedures, policies, internal documentation, user guides and workflows, considering both how PS is sold as well as (with PS Ops) effective and systematic handover to PS delivery teams

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in New York City for our hybrid working model.

Requirements: 

  • A project manager with 5+ years of experience
  • Previous experience with Professional Services, Consulting, and/or Training new product launches and development is preferred.
  • A college degree, MBA preferred
  • Experience working in partnerships
  • Passionate about MongoDB’s mission and core database technology
  • Background working on extremely cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated skills at building strong working relationships and influencing both internal and external partners at all levels; has passion and convictions and the innate ability to encourage passion in others
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects/priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous and constantly evolving work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable analytical skills using data to derive impactful insights and drive decisions in a business environment
  • Trained in working with project tracking software (e.g. JIRA, Rally, MS Project)
  • Experience working with Salesforce/Netsuite preferred
