We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented, social savvy individual to assist with all things social media. Reporting to the head of marketing communications, this person will have an above and beyond attitude, demonstrate professionalism and initiative, and possess outstanding work ethic. You’ll have a hand in a wide range of marketing functions, including copywriting, managing social media accounts, communications, content marketing, newsletters, blogs, and more. This is an ideal role for someone who has developed a solid foundation in marketing and would like to continue gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of marketing at a fast-paced company where each person’s contributions make a tangible impact.

 

What you get to do:

  • Develop and execute social marketing strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and engagement around Conviva research and products.
  • Raise, develop, and drive breakthrough ideas that showcase Conviva as a thought leader in the social and streaming analytics space.
  • Storytelling that brings our brand to life. Build knowledge of the market, customers, competitors, and partners to create compelling content for social media, blogs, data reports, web, presentations, PR outreach, collateral, etc. 
  • Take the best data in the industry and make it digestible to all with key thought leadership initiatives including quarterly State of Streaming reports.
  • Coordinate with demand gen, paid ad, and SEO teams to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns.
  • Research social media trends and inform team of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities. 
  • Perform community management and monitor reactions to social content, taking into consideration social media trends and cultural moments.
  • Plan and develop bi-weekly social and streaming marketing newsletter, including but not limited to working with team members and across departments to ensure content is accurate and up to date, writing and creating assets (photos/graphics) for the company newsletter, scheduling, distribution and performance reporting.
  • Identify and build lasting relationships with relevant influencers, thought leaders, and Conviva customers on social media.

What you bring to the role:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing including at a B2B software, tech, or analytics company.
  • 2+ years of experience managing content strategy and execution, as well as evaluating performance on social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • 2+ years of experience building and managing a social content calendar, including advance approvals for content.
  • 2+ years of experience using editing and graphic design tools to create content for social channels, including an understanding of how copy and visuals work together on social.
  • 2+ years of experience monitoring or executing paid social campaigns on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • 2+ years of experience developing creative, impactful marketing content, writing professionally with on-brand tone.
  • Experience considering or managing SEO, including tailoring and creating SEO-specific content.
  • Comfort with basic data analysis, gaining insights and turning them into a story.
  • Extremely organized, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Motivated multitasker; comfortable juggling multiple projects and driving them to completion.
  • Quick study with endless intellectual curiosity; responsive to changing information with your finger on the pulse of new dynamics.
  • BA/BS from an accredited university in marketing, business administration, communication, journalism, or English, or equivalent experience.
