About the Role

As the Social Content Manager for EMEA, you will plan, brief, schedule and create on trend social media content that achieves outstanding reach, engagement and shares, relevant to our audiences across UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. You will oversee the daily planning, coordination and community management with our social media creative agency. You will have a passion for growing communities on social media, through a combination of owned, earned and paid social media.

You will have an excellent understanding of best practices in storytelling, creative and formats across essential platforms of Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok and others. You will also be experienced in using owned, earned and paid data and social listening to help you keep on top of what's trending and how to improve future content creation. It important to bring both creativity and insights to this role.

You will report to the EMEA Director of Social Media and Community Marketing and have close working relationships with regional and global teams.

You Will:

• Plan social media content backed by creator and consumer insights, platform best practices, social trends and performance data
• Oversee the EMEA social media calendars, setting a high editorial standard and best practices (such as format, messaging, tone of voice, frequency, timing)
• Apply the Twitch tone of voice and speak in a relatable way to our community
• Work with the creative team to ensure Twitch branding is reflected across our social media content
• Proactively liaise between marketing, comms, partnerships and other important company partners to manage and prioritise content themes
• Create clear briefs to our social media agency and manage on time delivery to a high standard
• Oversee the regular reporting on social media activity internally and implement improvements

You Have:

• Expertise in always on social media marketing and campaign execution
• Experience of social media networks, and how best to use them (Including: Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat and more)
• Passion for content creation and compelling copywriting skills
• You've got a pulse on local and regional cultural trends
• International marketing exposure within multi-functional organisations with varied regional audiences
• Experienced in navigating around data and insights, including the use of Google Sheets, Social Tech and Social Listening tools
• Understand how to report on effectiveness of social media content
• A passion for live streaming, gaming and new media channels

Bonus Points

• You are Twitch user or streamer yourself
• Familiarity with the gaming space
• Have business-level proficiency in a second language (either French, German or Spanish)
