This position will be based in Mexico City and will be a fixed-term 12-month contract. 

About the role

Airbnb is looking for a Senior Market Manager to help unlock the next generation of hosts across our global markets by leading our various regional supply acquisition programs. It reports to the Country Manager for Mexico & Caribbean.

This role is a hybrid sales and program management role. We are looking for sales and marketing experts with an entrepreneurial mindset and drive. This role requires cross functional collaboration and carries revenue and business performance goals. 

  • You have experience in managing sales teams and designing and implementing marketing plans
  • You are entrepreneurial and resourceful
  • You are analytical and can assess program , business performance and iterate based on past learnings
  • You are an effective communicator with the ability to synthesize opportunities into strategic recommendations
  • You are passionate about travel, community, and entrepreneurship
  • You will deliver creative and forward thinking ways to increase hosts on the Airbnb platform at scale

The Job

Program management:

  • Lead the Sales Affiliate program in the region
  • Analyze trends and identify best practices within the Sales Affiliate program
  • Develop the necessary communication channels to increase reach and reinforce the feedback loop for program and product support
  • Design and execute workshops, events, webinars, partnerships and other resources to support Sales Affiliate education
  • Customize central programs and toolkits for regional needs
  • Analyzing Sales Affiliate trends and outcomes to identify best practices
  • Design workshops, events, webinars, partnerships and other resources to support Sales Affiliate education
  • Customize central programs and toolkits for regional needs

Sales:

  • Grow our existing Sales Affiliate community
  • Maintain and increase engagement with program participants
  • Work towards revenue and host growth goals
  • You will create an engaged and active Sales Affiliate community
  • You will lead through inspiration and our core value of belonging 

Outcomes and Impact: 

  • You will contribute meaningfully to a strategic outcome for Airbnb to unlock the next generation of hosts
  • You will get exposure and opportunities to collaborate with cross functional teams around the world and with regional leaders
  • You will partner with central programs to develop product roadmap, establish hosts’ needs and solution design
  • You will pioneer a new model and growth structure for Airbnb 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience in digital marketing and sales development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, etc.)
  • MBA or master’s degree in related field is a plus
  • You are strategic in your thinking with a proven ability to own growth OKRs and exceed goals 
  • Can forecast, model, and optimize growth tactics based on known and unknown performance
  • You have inside or outside sales experience across tech or consumer goods
  • Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Strong empathy for our community and passion for revenue and growth
  • Deep understanding of people powered sales cycles
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset; Basic SQL and advanced analytical analysis skills
  • Experience in multilevel marketing is a plus 
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with Excel, Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, and other technology solutions for driving sales
