The Role

TaxBit is looking for a passionate Senior Copywriter/Content Strategist to bring the voice of our brand to life! We need someone with a proven track record of creating compelling copy to join our world class marketing team! The ideal candidate will be a versatile writer and be able to absorb a brand’s voice quickly. The ability to strike a balance between skillfully managing and motivating a team of creatives while also digging in to create original product content is paramount and will enable this person to thrive! It is important that this person is very  comfortable leading workshops with executive stakeholders on both internal and external teams they will have oversight and shared responsibility for developing and executing our content strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft new content from educational-thought leadership content to product announcement blogs for multiple products verticals
• Draft customer, external facing, and other communications 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and design teams to create experiences that inspire and convert. 
• Write engaging social and SEO content.
• Create targeted messages and customer communications based on the key value propositions and use cases of our content and target audiences.
• Assist in the development of content strategy documentation, including content patterning and message hierarchies.
• Work on the emerging TaxBit brand and activate the voice consistently across channels and comms.
• Work with project management to meet deadlines

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in marketing, advertising or social media, with significant emphasis on strategic content 
• Excellent short-form and long-form writing skills in a variety of voices and tones
• Solid grammar, editing and proofreading capabilities
• Willingness to push your craft, get your hands dirty and make great things
• Strategic thinker with a passion for going the extra mile…
• Previous Saas, Tax, Accounting, Fintech or Crypto experience a plus
• Experience working in a fast paced start-up environment
