About the role

We’re thrilled to be hiring our first Mobile Sales Specialist on the ground at MongoDB. This opportunity has an exciting visibility and scope to have huge value and impact across the business! 

We’re looking for a hardworking, driven individual with superb energy, passion and initiative for finding new projects within existing accounts. The Sales Specialist role focuses exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in new revenue growth.

This role is remote optional until April 4, 2022, we are looking to speak to candidates who plan to be available in North America for when we introduce our hybrid model.

Day to day

  • Drive incremental consumption and retention within existing accounts by identifying new use cases and enabling feature adoption
  • Proactively, identify, qualify and close a sales pipeline
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, & technical end users.
  • Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Work with the Corporate Account Executives to develop and lead inbound and outbound campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified call and close
  • Participate in our sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, sophisticated sales training, and leadership and development programs

What you bring to the table

  • 2+ years experience of quota-carrying sales experience in a fast-paced and competitive market
  • A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Strong domain knowledge within mobile and/or selling experience (mobile integration solutions, mobile application solutions)
  • Ability to have high level technical discussions with C-level and key decision makers around their mobile and data platform strategies
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Skilled in building business champions
  • Driven and competitive. Possess a strong desire to be successful
  • Fluent in English and must live in territory
