Ethos is looking for a Product Design Manager to join the design leadership team. At Ethos, you will play an instrumental role in shaping every aspect of the product design team.
You should be a pioneer who is not afraid to experiment, invent, and occasionally fail. You should be energized by building from the ground up, designing moments and experiences that drive business value and make customers smile.
-Managing a team of designers by mentoring and creating growth opportunities for those on your team
-Partnering with peers in PM and engineering to define goals, objectives, and processes to ensure projects successfully driving outcomes for our customers and the business
-Ensuring team members are creating high quality work that drives outcomes for customers and the business
-Collaborating with design leadership to evolve our process, tools and systems to ensure we’re creating great, consistent work
-Partnering with the design leadership in recruiting to expand our team, including sourcing candidates, interviewing candidates, and on-boarding new employees
Skills and Experience
-3+ years experience leading or managing a design team
-A portfolio of relevant design work, executed either by yourself or a team that you led, that conveys an ability to ship -successful products that people love
-Experience partnering with product and engineering peers to drive strategy, vision, and execution
-Ability to balance a wide range of responsibilities at the same time
-Experience attracting and hiring design talent
-Passion for brand, and brand expression.
-Excellent communication (verbal, written, visual); openness to collaboration and continual growth.
