About the Role

Ramp’s Business Operations team is tasked with tackling Ramp’s most mission-critical, complex, and cross-functional problems. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to influence the growth trajectory of a hyper-growth startup with a tremendous amount of market opportunity. As a member of the Rotational Program, you’ll work directly with leaders across our Sales, Growth, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to deliver on ambitious goals. The program provides a unique opportunity to accelerate your personal and professional development. 

Within a year, members of the Rotational Program will be placed directly into high-impact roles within other Ramp teams. This Program is an excellent way to gain operational experience before jump-starting a successful career in a specific function. 

 

What You’ll Do

As a member of this highly selective program, you will participate in 3-6 month rotations across various parts of the organization, including Growth, Operations, Product Marketing, and more. Business Operations partners with leaders across the company to create high-visibility, high-impact project opportunities. While the specifics of different rotations will vary, you will always have the opportunity to:

 

  • Solve complex business problems and build / iterate on process for a wide range of go-to-market and operational needs within a high-growth startup
  • Analyze key KPIs to identify areas of strength and improvement, in close partnership with go-to-market leaders
  • Build dashboards and analytics that will drive day-to-day decision-making and broader strategy

Sample rotational initiatives include:

  • Optimizing conversion rates for Ramp’s website and inbound funnel
  • Developing Ramp’s strategy / roadmap for key areas of the business, including strategic sales, outbound, and more
  • Quarterbacking product launches, driving strategy and helping ensure the Product and Go-To-Market organizations are in sync
  • Analyzing Partnerships performance to determine channels to double down in or pull back from

 

What You’ll Need

  • 2-6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and/or operations / strategy at a fast-growing startup
  • You have a “get things done” mentality; you can dissect complex problems, identify solutions, and drive these solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy
  • You are resourceful, have a strong willingness to learn, and can pick up new skills where needed (e.g. SQL, python)
  • You are creative and can see how the pieces of a complex problem fit together; you feel comfortable challenging assumptions when they are not well-based
  • You like to build - you enjoy the process of going from problem to solution regardless of the medium
  • You have a team-first mentality and communication skills that allow you to influence others at all levels and across all functions within the organization to rally behind shared business goals
  • You’re a master with data analysis, and have an exceptional ability to draw key insights from both quantitative and qualitative data

 

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with no code tools (eg Zapier, Webflow), SQL, Salesforce, Outreach and other business systems and tools, or a strong willingness to learn
  • Experience in high-growth startups and/or high-growth technology companies
