MessageBird is rapidly growing across the world, fueled by our growing customer base and our shift to a “Work from Anywhere” company. As our Rewards Specialist you will be tasked with executing MessageBird’s Compensation & Benefit processes and policies. With our ever expanding global reach the need for balancing one global benefit standard versus local needs & requirements is growing. As our Rewards Specialist you will play a key function in this transition and ensure our ‘Birds’ get the compensation and benefits they deserve.
What you’ll do
- Together with our Head of Rewards, you will help drive the strategy, design, and development of our Total Rewards programs — from all things compensation (including base salary, equity-based programs, variable pay, bonuses, promotions), benefits, and recognition programs that support our diverse global team.
- Continuously pulse-check and benchmark activities across all areas of Total Rewards to create the best understanding of our competitiveness around the world.
- Research, launch, and enhance benefits and perks options (f.e. Health insurance, pension) across our 50+ countries we operate in.
- Provide guidance, develop solutions (e.g., manager training for compensation conversations), and broadcast educational pieces and programs around Total Rewards.
- Collaborate with our wider People team, Legal, Finance and other key stakeholders as well as 3rd party vendors.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years progressive experience in People Operations and Compensation + Benefits;
- Experience in execution on compensation & total rewards strategies for hyper-growth multi-country technology companies.
- Experience working in a high-tech, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking and prioritisation abilities. You have the agility to function well in an innovative environment and flat organisation.
- Extremely strong analytical skills and a track record for planning, doing and auditing work.
- Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyse data.
- Highly detailed driven with focus on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture.
- Proven ability to track, prioritise, and drive to master multiple concurrent projects with a strong operational background
- Hands-on personality who enjoys jumping in between the operational and tactical level
- Great team player: Able to work with deeply technical as well as operational, business-minded leaders on C&B topics.
