The Sales & CX Enablement team at Vanta owns the Sales and Customer Experience onboarding programs and drives the continuous learning and development of our customer-facing teams.

As a Sales Trainer, you’ll play a large part in our onboarding program as we rapidly grow, ensuring both in-person and virtual new hires have a great experience and are set up for success as quickly as possible. You’ll also work closely with existing reps to ensure sales skills are high-quality, value-focused, and consistent across the Sales & CS cohorts. You’ll be tasked with leading a variety of training sessions and workshops, developing and carrying out coaching plans, and collaborating with Sales & CX leadership to identify and address skills gaps and challenges.

What you’ll do as a Sales Trainer at Vanta:

  • Lead Sales & CX new hire training sessions during Onboarding
  • Facilitate and lead ongoing skills workshops and coaching sessions for Sales & CX
  • Conduct mock calls and provide call/email feedback in adherence with Vanta’s sales playbook and adopted sales methodology
  • Partner with Sales & CS Leadership to identify skill gaps and create remediation plans
  • Analyze Sales & CX certification scores to identify and implement training needs
  • Train new and existing hires Partner with Sales, CS, Marketing, and Ops to analyze competitive win rates
  • Audit calls for consistency, skills adoption and high quality 
  • Update and collaborate on playbooks, presentations, and competitive intel database

How to be successful in this role: 

  • At least four years of experience working at a SaaS company in a Sales or Relationship Management role, with at least 1 year of coaching or training experience
  • Care deeply about the onboarding and ongoing learning experience
  • Be a self-starter who enjoys creating process and procedures for a scaling business
  • Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Support)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

About Vanta

We started Vanta in 2016 as Equifax had lost every American's social security number, Home Depot had leaked its customers' credit card numbers to hackers, and Facebook admitted that it irresponsibly sent user data to third parties who tried to influence the US election. It was clear that security and privacy had become mainstream issues, and that we all increasingly relied on cloud services to store everything from our personal photos to our communications at work.

Vanta's mission is to be the layer of trust on top of these services, and to secure the internet, increase trust in software companies, and keep consumer data safe.
