The role

MessageBird is looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive (Business Development Director) to sell to new high-value prospects and customers in Mexico.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for actively reaching out to enterprises building a pipeline, and closing new opportunities. You will have an assigned quota based on new business acquisitions while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Your hunting ground will be Mexico. With plenty of defined key verticals such as E-commerce, Retail, Finance, and logistics, new logo wins will be second nature to you.

You’ll report to the Country Manager Mexico and work in close partnership with Sales Engineering, Product Management, Customer Support/Success, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams.

What you’ll do

  • Work-based on the Target Account list to do prospecting, running sales cadences, identifying decision-makers and connecting with them, developing the relationship, negotiating and closing high-value opportunities positioning our CPaaS Platform to clients.  You will own the entire commercial engagement from proposal development, pricing strategy, negotiation to closing.
  • Work with internal teams in a collaborative manner to execute account-specific sales strategies and also to ensure smooth onboarding of the customer.
  • Develop and grow MessageBird visibility and relationships across multiple levels within the customer organisation. 
  • Navigate through decision-makers and influencers, identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling
  • You will be responsible for new customer acquisition and drive new revenue.
  • Employ a solution-selling methodology to facilitate customer evaluations and to help them understand MessageBird’s unique differentiation
  • Keep up-to-date records of Sales Activities, Opportunities, and Accounts in Salesforce
  • Be responsible for building and maintaining sufficient pipeline coverage
  • Operations to design mutually beneficial contracts to address customer requirements and balance the needs of our business
  • Representing MessageBird at  face to face meetings, events/tradeshows

What you’ll bring

  • Ability to work backward by focusing always on a customer-first approach
  • 8+ years of progressively increased responsibility in B2B within the SaaS, Cloud or Software space in Mexico
  • Professional proficiency in English, both verbally and written.
  • Track record of personal selling and closing complex technical solutions to enterprises and software companies in excess of US 300K+
  • Experience with creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms, and managing the contract process. Fearless and a ruthless focus on execution.
  • Prior experience within CPaaS offerings is very helpful
  • Experience selling Cloud platforms and services to a technical and business audience, while building trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers
