What you can do for Expel

  • Create and own a Deal Desk program that facilitates Expel's growth
  • Simplify the deal closure process, making Expel's products and services easy to buy and easy to sell
  • Support front-line sales staff in creating deal structures, navigating customer requests and helping to shepherd deals to a successful conclusion
  • Partner with other teams such as Finance, Legal and Business Systems to ensure tight financial controls and strong processes
  • Use data to understand what's working, what's not, and what to do next.

What you should bring with you

  • Several years of leading a Deal Desk function for for rapidly growing SaaS companies beyond $50M in annual recurring revenue.
  • Experience creating and executive the Strategy for a Deal Desk program
  • Mastery of modern office tools and SaaS technologies used in sales teams including things like Salesforce.com, SFDC CPQ,
  • Strong active listening and conflict management skills; you build consensus across multiple stakeholders easily.

Additional Notes 

The base salary range for this role is between $130,000 USD and $187,200 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.

We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.

At Expel, we ask our crew to provide their covid-19 vaccination status because it’s helpful to understand this data at a company level and we expect that customers, partners, and conferences will start asking us to attest to the vaccination status of our people.
