직책 소개

Safety Operations팀은 글로벌 및 현지의 법적 요구 사항과 관련된 수많은 문제에 대한 Twitch 비즈니스의 규정 준수 위험을 관리합니다. 여기에는 혐오스러운 폭력이나 극도의 피해 행위에 대한 위기관리 및 사고 대응 프로토콜, 심각도가 높은 사고를 미연에 예방하고 방지하기 위해 설계된 위험 완화 전략 및 작업 프로그램, 법 집행 기관에 대한 대응 및 협력, 전담 조사 기능, 재정적 처벌의 위험을 줄이기 위한 엄격한 품질 및 정확성 관리 조치 개발이 포함됩니다. 싱가포르에 있는 당사의 수석 안전 운영팀 매니저 직속으로 근무하게 됩니다.

업무 내용

• Twitch 정책 위반에 대한 유저의 신고를 평가하고 조치해야 합니다
• 채널의 특별 이벤트나 홍보 콘텐츠를 관리
• 합리적으로 독립된 의사 결정을 내려야 합니다
• 프로세스상의 문제를 인식 및 확인하고 개선 방안을 제시해야 합니다.
• 새로운 팀원/동료의 멘토 역할을 하면서 관련 정책 및 도구에 대해 교육해야 합니다.
• 다른 안전 운영 작업 전반에 걸쳐 교차 교육을 받게 됩니다. 여기에는 계정 정지 이의 제기, 콘텐츠 검토, 사건 중재, 심층 조사, Quality Assurance 등의 업무가 포함될 수 있습니다.
• Twitch의 정책, 사이트 기능 및 내부 문서에 대한 전문가 수준의 이해를 보유해야 합니다
• 교대 근무에 참여해야 하며 여기에는 야간 및 주말 근무가 포함될 수 있습니다.

자격 요건

• 중국어와 영어로 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기 듣기에 능통해야 합니다(중국어 방언이나 기타 아시아 지역 언어 특기자 우대).
• 아시아태평양 지역에서의 미묘한 차이를 잘 이해하고 중국 문화와 가치관에 대한 감수성을 가지고 있어야 합니다.
• 관련 분야에서 2년 이상의 경험이 있어야 하며 콘텐츠 관리, 정책, 조사, 온라인 운영 환경 분야에서의 경험이 있으면 더 좋습니다.
• 잠재적인 편견 또는 이해 충돌을 명확하게 인식하고 있어야 하며, 이것이 일에 영향을 미치지 않도록 해야 합니다.
• 잠재적으로 복잡할 수 있는 문제를 분석하고 해결한 경험이나, 간결하고 이해하기 쉬운 방식으로 결론과 결정을 요약한 경험이 있어야 합니다.
• 콘텐츠 관리, 정책, 조사, 컨설팅, 온라인 운영 환경 분야에서 경험이 있어야 합니다.
• 아동 착취, 노골적인 폭력, 자해, 기타 모욕적이거나 불쾌감을 줄 수 있는 콘텐츠 등의 섬세한 문제를 능숙하게 다룰 수 있어야 합니다.

About the Role

Safety Operations is at the core of our efforts to keep Twitch a welcoming and safe place for people to build communities. We are looking for someone who can consistently apply our guidelines with reference to nuanced and context-dependent policies in an evolving environment. As a Safety Operations Specialist in APAC, you will be an essential element of Twitch's Trust & Safety efforts. You will be reporting to a Safety Operations Lead, and will be reviewing content that have been reported. You will make autonomous decisions against challenging issues of a potentially sensitive or business-critical nature.

You Will:

• Evaluation of content escalated from Tier 1 and 2 Safety Operations Teams because of high levels of complexity, context or investigative requirements. This will involve:
• Make decisions independently when reviewing high volumes of live and active issues regarding Twitch user behaviour
• Mitigate risk of company reputation damage, user safety, legal violation or sensitive information disclosure by application of policies across a large caseload
• Address sensitive content which may be graphic, violent or hateful, include offensive or derogatory language or other potentially distressing material
• Observe and identify gaps in processes and make recommendations for process improvement
• Mentor new team members/peers and train them on relevant policies and tools
• Explore different aspects of Safety Operations work. This may include: training, suspension appeals; content review; event moderation; deep-dive investigations and quality assurance work
• Monitor several information flows simultaneously
• Maintain expert understanding of Twitch's policies, site features, and internal documentation
• Participate in shift work which can include after-hours and weekends

You Have:

• Must be proficient in spoken and written Mandarin as well as English (bonus: other APAC languages)
• Sensitivity towards Chinese culture and values and understanding of nuances in APAC region
• 2 years relevant experience, preferably in content moderation, policy, investigations, or online operations environment
• Clear awareness of potential biases or conflicts of interest and ensure these do not affect professional application of responsibilities
• Deep familiarity with Twitch, streaming, internet slang/colloquialisms and internet culture
• Mentally and emotionally resilient to handle offensive or disturbing behaviour, language, and content
• Experience in assessing risk and resolving potentially complex issues; Summarising conclusions and decisions in a concise and simple-to-comprehend manner
• Comfortable working remotely and independently as part of a larger team
