About the Role:

Twitch is looking for a Senior Software Development Manager to lead our Security Development (SecDev) group. The team designs security software and tools that empower teams to keep Twitch secure. We create new security services that enable and automate security solutions at a Twitch wide scale. We create the building blocks that other teams use in their everyday development. We believe the best type of security software is easy to use security software. Reporting to the Director of Security Architecture & Engineering, you will lead a team responsible for creating security services and tools that support the many platforms, languages, tech stacks, and technologies across Twitch. Your team will be instrumental in the execution of every core Security initiative across the company. If you think that you're interested, and that you may be qualified, please contact us. You Will:

  • Partner with peer security teams and and engineering leaders across the company to drive essential security initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for security automation that benefits engineers and leaders
  • Become part of the Security leadership team
  • Provide expertise on process improvements and tools designed to increase security engineering productivity
  • Provide high-level architectural direction to your team to sustain engineering and operational excellence
  • Mentor, lead, and develop the careers of a team of six

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience implementing software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • 5+ years of experience managing software developers and helping them develop all aspects of their engineering skills
  • Demonstrated experience with project delivery for large company-wide cloud projects.
  • Experience in working with security and confidential data
