What You Get To Do:

  • Manage key account portfolios including: discovery of business objectives and initiatives, organizational hierarchy, key players and their decision process, account penetration, engagement and overall strategy, documentation of business use-cases, identifying product expansion/up-sell and utilization to additional business units and users, manage contract terms/conditions/expectations, value extraction, and customer feedback.
  • Build, manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders across multiple departments within advertisers, media agencies, publishers, media companies, sports teams and leagues responsible for social media analytics and social video for continued visibility and penetration within those organizations.
  • Understand the target Customers business model, mapping their organization and identifying how their unique business and / or technology needs can show ROI from Conviva’s products and services.
  • Become trusted advisor to stakeholders within assigned target companies.
  • Effectively manage the business as it relates to ongoing sales activity including pipeline forecasting, organizational mapping, contracts, proposals, and legal.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the ever-evolving social media and streaming video technology landscape.
  • Develop strong, long-term and loyal client relationships.
  • Facilitate, organize and lead regular customer meetings, product feedback sessions, quarterly business reviews.
  • Work with the Customer Success team to understand overall account health, customer loyalty, satisfaction and oversee the success and activities to help solidify value and drive additional use-cases.

What You Bring To The Role:

  • Sales experience in B2B SaaS environment with a proven track record of success in exceeding quotas.
  • Solid working knowledge, understanding, and interest in social media and social media platforms, as well as the value of real time insights into audience engagement within social media.
  • Experience selling social insights/monitoring/intelligence/data products to advertisers and marketing agencies.
  • Knowledge of the social competitive landscape, market, product, customers, etc.
  • Hunter and closer, with a strong network and deep relationships within Enterprise customers in the social media space
  • High degree of business acumen.
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills, as well as negotiation skills, having managed complex deals where you have driven maximum value and ROI for your customers.
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software (preferably Salesforce).
