Candidates must love delighting customers with best in class service, and evolving with cutting edge offerings. The right candidate will have experience with California files. 

About the Role

You will collaborate with the Escrow Officer/Closer and Closing Supervisor in the preparation of preliminary closing documents, review incoming signed preliminary documents and entering pertinent data into the closing system.  You will provide phone and email support to parties to the transaction and otherwise assist Escrow Officer/Closer, escrow principals and/or their lenders.  

•    Prepares introductory escrow package.
•    Interacts with buyers and sellers to provide warm introduction via phone and/or email to verify contact information, and answer preliminary questions. Provides Earnest Money Deposit receipt to parties to the transaction.
•    Review transaction details entered from purchase contract into closing system to ensure accuracy of data and contact information for all parties to the transaction.
•    Sends preliminary title package to lender. 
•    Completes a pre-closing checklist before handing transaction off to Escrow Officer/Closer to initiate the closing. 
•    Receives, reviews and inputs data into closing system from beneficiary statements or demands, HOA documents invoices, and other documents. Prepares seller closing documents.
•    Schedules seller signings.
•    Receives, reviews and inputs into closing system real estate commissions and other charges.
•    Other duties and responsibilities as needed to support a successful closing of a real estate transaction.

What you should bring to the table as our Ideal Escrow Assistant
•    1+ years as an Escrow Assistant/pre-closer working on purchase resale transactions Computer, e-mail, word processing knowledge and experience required.
•    Comfortable working in a paperless environment
•    Experience completing tasks in a robust closing platform; Resware experience a plus!
•    Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
