About the role

The Head of Sales Productivity Strategy & Analytics will act as a trusted advisor to MongoDB’s VP Sales Productivity by owning key strategic programs and providing analytical insights to the Sales Productivity team, the broader sales/GTM organization, and senior leadership.  The global Sales Productivity team delivers world-class sales enablement, technology, operations, and programs that accelerate productivity and remove barriers to efficiency. The organization includes the Sales Technology & Operations Support team, responsible for the sales tech stack and internal sales support, and the Sales Enablement team, responsible for onboarding and ever-boarding continuous learning programs.  The role combines strategy, operations, and analytics focused on sales technology, sales enablement, and GTM initiatives.  The Head of Sales Productivity Strategy & Analytics will lead key cross-functional programs, drive the Productivity team operating cadence, and manage the business review and updates to senior leadership.  This role will also deliver the analytical frameworks, dashboards, hands-on analyses, and actionable insights of Productivity initiatives. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience as a sales operations business partner and proactively leading key strategic programs in a dynamic, hyper growth environment.  

What you will be doing

  • Manages key priorities of the VP Sales Productivity and drives the operating cadence for the Productivity organization 
  • Drives communication and coordination of priorities and projects across the Productivity organization to ensure alignment of priorities and clarity of project status with key cross-functional stakeholders
  • Become an expert in MongoDB’s sales technology stack, sales support, and sales/GTM enablement functions
  • Own the Productivity analytics dashboards and analyses including seller productivity, enablement program tracking, sales tools adoption & usage scorecards, and productivity GTM initiatives
  • Analyze impact of enablement programs and pilots on sales productivity, activity tracking, and other key measures for both new hire onboarding programs and tenured seller “ever-boarding” continuous learning initiatives
  • Automate sales tools adoption & usage scorecard to measure improvements from tools enablement and productivity initiatives across the sales tech stack
  • Leverage data to assess improvement areas across each pillar of the tech stack (e.g. Lead Flow) and drive cross-functional improvements
  • Create sales productivity time study and actionable insights focused on reducing time spent on administrative sales activities and increasing customer-facing and customer-focused time
  • Deliver GTM program analyses to measure ROI of integrated productivity campaigns and pilots

What you bring to the table

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience across strategy and sales operations, or similar functions
  • A track record of developing impactful strategic programs
  • Experience as a sales operations business partner, consultant, or analytics
  • Strong analytical thinker who is adept at complex analysis
  • Effective communicator who can break down convoluted technical concepts into simple business vernacular
  • Highly organized with strong attention to details
  • Shows versatility and adaptability to handle a highly-diverse workload and manages simultaneous activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter and ability to manage multiple complex projects in parallel
  • Strong SQL knowledge with an ability to write SQL queries to extract data needed for analysis is preferred but not required
  • You are a spreadsheet wizard with the ability to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience with at least one major business intelligence tool (Tableau,Google Data Studio,Looker)
  • You can navigate your way around Salesforce with relative ease
  • Familiarity with sales technologies
