To meet this demand, we are looking for passionate technologists to join our growing Industry Solutions Team, a remote/flexible, globally-dispersed team. Our objective is to align MongoDB as an industry solution and ensure we understand enterprise clients and their needs to modernize software legacies, transition to modernized solutions, and guide them through continuous data-driven modernization. 

The responsibilities of this role include communicating the direction of MongoDB’s platform to customers and industry partner communities via content creation, external media sources, writing and/or design of external deliverables, and leading projects that help drive forward accounts, product recognition, and internal administrative projects. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a non-technical background to get deep into the tech sector and be part of one of the fastest growing companies. We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn fast and is able to understand the technology we work with, communicate it in a language our clients use, and work with our Industry Consultants and Principals on their projects, taking into consideration the different focal verticals. 

The role is great for people with a background and ambition in tech, but with some visual design experience in order to support some of the creative projects we want to develop within industry solutions. 

You'll work closely with multiple teams, such as marketing, product, pre-sales, sales enablement and sales teams, as well as play a key role in winning deals and driving the business forward, as subject matter experts. The location for this role is based in Barcelona, Spain office or remotely in the EMEA region.

What you do at MongoDB

• You collaborate closely with our team’s consultants and principals to aid them in account support and content generation. 
• You help generate/deliver content, such as white papers, blogs, webinars, thought leadership, speaking events, etc. that communicates the business value of MongoDB as a leading industry solution
• You partner with the rest of the Industry Solutions team to help ensure success in accounts ranging from small startups to large enterprises (i.e customizing solutions, client presentations, client-specific content, etc.)
• Assist in consultant support of sales through enablement, with activities such as technical discovery, demos, trainings, proof of values, presentations, and documentation of technical decision criteria; working across a number of sales opportunities in parallel
• You assist in supporting Industry Solutions marketing teams in content alignment
• You proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other team members and share best practices
• Enjoy the ride because we’re growing fast

As an ideal candidate, you will have

• Experience working in the tech sector, and a keen interest to grow in tech
• Relevant experience in design and you can show us some great pieces (even webpages count) that you have designed with visual components, like your own icons, graphics etc. If you have a portfolio book, we’d love to see it!
• A balance of technical knowledge as well as people skills
• A strong sense of team-work working towards a common goal with process-oriented skills
• Great organizational skills and capability to adjust to quick changing requirements
• Excellent oversight of parallel requests in fast paced environments
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new industries 
• Great understanding of modern, minimal media style
• Ability to apply guidelines and interpret those in a concise fashion
• Excellent English written and verbal communication, preferably native
• Excellent grammatical and spelling skills for documentation and proofreading
• A foundational knowledge of IT technology - data and data science are a plus  (you will become an expert on the job!)
• At least a bachelor degree
