We are looking for an Outsourcing Analyst who will be primarily responsible for outsourcing and vendor management programs for Airbnb Payments entities in Europe. You will lead the Outsourcing program to build a contractual and matrix driven monitoring framework to ensure delivery of world class services from our outsourcing service providers. You will also work with the global Airbnb Payments vendor management teams to identify and review vendors, perform onboarding and ongoing due diligence, and annual risk assessments to mitigate outsourcing and vendor related risks for Airbnb Payments.  The position will be based in Luxembourg and report to the Director of Operations.

As the Outsourcing Analyst, you will:

  • Maintain the policies and procedures related to the governance and oversight framework for managing risks associated with services provided by vendors and service providers
  • Maintain up to date documentation including the register of outsourced services as required by relevant regulations (Outsourcing register, Cloud register etc.)
  • Perform criticality assessment of outsourced services, service provider due diligence, outsourcing risk assessment etc. 
  • Work with all service providers to define/refresh key performance indicators and where necessary build reporting mechanisms for monitoring of performance against these KPIs. Negotiate and contractually build these KPIs into service levels for reporting and tracking
  • Report on performance of the service providers to the authorised management and the board of the company.
  • Drive resolution and timely closure of non-performance issues against agreed SLAs. Identify and manage remediation efforts for areas of systemic non-performance including, if needed, escalating and reporting to the authorised managers and to the Board of the company
  • Review existing and upcoming regulations at international, regional and national levels to continuously improve APL’s outsourcing and vendor risk management program

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience working for financial institutions (preferably in Europe) or other regulated industries
  • Good understanding of operational and/or outsourcing risk management frameworks
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams and across multiple verticals in a matrix organization - Finance, Accounting, Legal, Audit, Compliance, IT/System, Product etc.
  • Ability to understand contractual terms in legal agreements related to service levels from outsourced service providers and ensure strict compliance
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills, both written and verbal

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience running an outsourcing risk management program at a financial institution in Europe
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations including EBA outsourcing guidelines
  • Exposure to senior leaders and regulators
  • Experience in project management
