What Asana is looking for in applicants

We’re looking for an experienced event marketing expert to join our growing Revenue Marketing team. As the Field Marketing Manager, you will own the vision, strategy and end-to-end execution of our event program as the first field event marketer in North America. You will be responsible for developing virtual and in-person experiences across owned and sponsored events, with a focus on pipeline growth and deal acceleration.

Reporting into the AMER Revenue Marketing Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to design and build event programs that help increase brand awareness, engage prospects, and delight existing customers. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing and sales leaders, demand generation marketers, cross-functional partners, and third-party agencies to deliver high-impact events in support of our ambitious revenue goals.

If you’re an event marketer who is revenue-oriented and passionate about creating delightful attendee experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

What you'll achieve:

  • Develop and own the field marketing program for North America across owned and sponsored events
  • Produce events from concept through completion, including planning, budgeting, managing stakeholders and vendors, execution, and reporting
  • Identify opportunities and innovative ways to engage our target audiences through sponsored industry events, trade shows, conferences, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal partners on Asana-hosted events across ABM, Brand, Community, Customer Advocacy, and more
  • Partner closely with revenue leaders, field sales reps, and SDRs on pre-show and post-show strategies to maximize pipeline generation
  • Establish and refine repeatable processes, templates, and best practices for regional events
  • Own the tracking and reporting of program results, while closely monitoring event KPIs, lead flow, pipeline creation, and ROI
  • Manage an annual events calendar aligned with quarterly campaigns and GTM launches

About you:

  • 7+ years of event marketing experience, ideally for enterprise audiences
  • Deep event planning and management knowledge with proven track record of successfully executing multifaceted events (both small and large scale)
  • Ability to manage and scale a portfolio of multiple events simultaneously, while balancing tight timelines
  • Strong communicator with an ability to lead cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders, partners, event vendors, and agencies
  • Experience working with executives, high-profile speakers, and customers
  • Knowledge of events (i.e. tech conferences) in the high-tech B2B/SaaS industry
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed once travel restrictions are lifted
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, marketing automation platforms (Marketo experience is a plus!), and other marketing technology tools
  • Self-starter with high autonomy, strong project management skills, and ability to adapt to change
