LiveRamp Safe Haven is a product innovation that is unlocking new use cases by enabling secure and privacy-safe data partnerships - and it is changing the way companies do business. We run like a startup with the resources of a fast growing, large enterprise SaaS company. LiveRamp is looking for a Sales Engineer/Sales Solution Architect to join the commercial team responsible for the Safe Haven platform in international (non-US) markets. The position will be a key member of the team, providing technical expertise on both our own products but also the technologies our prospective clients use to manage their customer’s data.

The role involves helping prospective clients understand both how our products work and how they can be integrated with the rest of their enterprise architecture. In addition to becoming a trusted adviser to our clients, the role also then helps to ensure a smooth transition for new clients into the implementation phase.

The Safe Haven product itself is defining a new market niche and as such our technical pre-sales team provide regular feedback to the product managers on new feature enhancements and potential client adoption.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Play a key role (technical pre-sales) in the sale of the LiveRamp Safe Haven solution.
  • Deliver product demos, lead technical discovery and translate business strategy to technical configuration.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of LiveRamp products and services as well as a working knowledge of GCP infrastructure, BigQuery, data engineering and data analytics products
  • Act as a technical point of contact for IT and data analytics/science stakeholders within prospective clients
  • Identify potential new use cases and design methodology for selling and implementing across prospective clients.
  • Work closely with our Technical Communication team to ensure we are creating and updating documentation as needed for this new product category.
  • Support creation of proof of concepts for strategic clients
  • Develop broad understanding of key technologies and trends within customer data management and marketing, including
    • Data lakes, warehouses
    • Martech - CDP, campaign management
    • AdTech - DMP, DSP, SSP
    • ETL and Data Operations platforms
    • Public clouds
    • Data analytics platforms

KEY SKILLS:

Essentials: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline preferred
  • 3+ years client-facing technical consulting experience (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation Engineer, etc.)
  • You are comfortable with true ambiguity; we are a startup within a fast growth company
  • You have strong communication skills; making complex concepts understandable to a variety of different business and technical audiences

Desirables:

  • Experience working in Google Cloud Platform, particularly relevant are general infrastructure, BigQuery and DataProc
  • Experience in the role working for a SaaS based platform vendor
  • Experience in one modern programming languages like Python, Java or Scala
  • Knowledge of AdTech ecosystem, including how data is shared within DMPs and DSPs
  • Knowledge of distributed computation like Spark or MapReduce

Essential:

  • Adaptable and able to cover a wide range of activities as a key role in a small multi-disciplined team
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team spread across EU, APAC & US
  • Develops, maintains and demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of technical and business environments within the entire end to end solution
  • Expected to be fully functional and self-directed on complex solutions
  • Expected to be able to interface with high-level client stakeholders and communicate effectively. Recognizing that each group demands a different level of communication / presentation skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a product focussed organisation specialising in SaaS based application
