Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding personnel matters, transactions and corporate intelligence and intellectual property
  • Assist with company change management protocols to support the company vision and goals
  • Maintain staffing schedules to provide adequate coverage at all times and communicate staffing needs to their supervisor
  • Monitor and manage associate attendance for company required training and development
  • Responsible for supervising direct reports and for personnel compliance with payroll policy administration and company policies and procedures
  • Coach and develop associates regarding service expectations including requirements under policies and procedures, products, software applications, systems and banking transactions.
  • Encourage collaboration between the branch staff and sales team to meet company values
  • Collaborate with other managers who provide support services to provide optimal customer experience
  • Collaborate/participate with the sales team/Sales Division
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Audit and Escrow File Review team
  • Evaluate employee performance and plan for compensation actions in accordance with that performance review per company guidelines; Provide developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities
  • Facilitate regular employee meetings to discuss company and individual goals, disseminate company information, discuss operational issues, etc.
  • Delegate work according to employee's abilities and skills
  • Participate in investigations, personnel meetings, counseling meetings, performance evaluation meetings, as necessary
  • Participate and collaborate with managing directors to support recruiting efforts and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent
  • Responsible for successful onboarding of associates
  • Act as liaison between associates and Corporate Human Resources
  • Responsible for generating or updating personnel information to Corporate Human Resources for all associates
  • Responsible for Office Services, including maintaining office equipment; purchasing office supplies.  
  • Responsible for Monthly Aged Trial Balance; Reviews reporting and follows up with the teams to ensure Held Funds and outstanding checks are processed timely
  • Responsible for handling of incoming customer service complaints and process in accordance with company guidelines
  • Optional: Function as Escrow Officer

Experience/Requirements:

  • Five years responsible Escrow Closer experience and broad title knowledge
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Capable of processing standard sale and loan only escrows without assistance
  • Ability to attract and maintain acceptable base of customers
  • Ability to prioritize, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to resolve escrow problems
  • Computer proficiency, general administrative skills and clerical skills
