About the Role

The Emerging Platforms team at Twitch targets new opportunities to expand our community. The team delivers user experiences across a variety of surfaces, including living room devices, automotive, and mobile browsers. To do this, the team leverages a wide range of technologies; from React and TypeScript web apps to Kotlin powering Android TV apps and CI.

You will report to the Director of Emerging Platforms and can be located in San Francisco, CA, Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA; New York, NY; Salt Lake City, UT, or Remote USA!

You Will:

  • Partner with other engineers to set up new operational systems and infrastructure.
  • Setup and maintain new build and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deploy systems.
  • Develop and maintain automated release systems and new services relevant to client operations.
  • Setup and integrate new monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Research new technologies and tooling.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Experience with maintaining systems designed around configuration-as-code.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
  • Experience designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS technologies.
  • Experience configuring & managing build pipelines.

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in TypeScript, Kotlin, Golang, and/or Ruby.
  • Experience with Docker.

The base pay range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut and Washington is $110,500 - $160,000 yr and in New York City is $121,600 - $180,600 yr. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
