About the Role

Twitch's Community Engagement organization is responsible for helping our users to understand, build, and recognize their communities. As a Mobile Engineering Manager, you will lead a team that works with modern technologies like Kotlin, Swift, Jetpack Compose, SwiftUI, and GraphQL to build products and features that support Community Engagement's mission. You will report to the Director of Engineering for Community Engagement.

You Will:

  • Build the team roadmap and share it with our stakeholders
  • Represent your team in engineering discussions with other teams
  • Execute on roadmap projects and keep stakeholders informed
  • Manage the careers of the engineers on your team and ensure their continued development

You Have:

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager or team lead
  • Experience with Android or iOS development

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with scheduling and ticket management tools such as JIRA
  • Familiarity with Twitch, as a viewer or a streamer!

The base pay range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut and Washington is $184,900 - $250,200 yr and in New York City is $203,400 - 275,200 yr. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
