About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. IT Applications Engineer to take the team to the next level. You will be part of a team who operates and integrates our growing portfolio of SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Dropbox, Jira/Confluence, AirTable) to help Twitch employees collaborate better and improve productivity. You will support daily operations and balance customer obsession, speed, cost, and risk to ensure the business can accomplish its goals.

You will report to the Manager of Enterprise Tooling.

You Will:

• Review the existing landscape and provide guidance on optimization and automation
• Ensure appropriate controls and best practices are followed to meet security and compliance requirements
• Manage applications like Confluence, Jira, Google Workspace, Slack, and Moveworks
• Monitor system alerts, performance and use reporting
• Troubleshoot system issues and implement remediations
• Oversee email retention activities to comply with legal records retention policies
• Partner with other teams to enforce cross-platform security and controls
• Plan, justify, and bring to closure large-scale information technology projects
• Setup and administration of SaaS-based solutions for the enterprise
• Document procedures and best practices
• Participate in on-call rotation

You Have:

• 6+ years experience in application implementation
• 5+ years administrating SaaS applications with 1000+ users
• Experience with Google Workspaces, Atlassian products, Slack
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages
• Experience working with APIs

The base pay range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut and Washington is $159,800 - $216,200 yr and in New York City is $175,800 - $237,900 yr. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
