About the Role

Mynd is looking for a collaborative, creative and strategic-oriented product manager who cares deeply about the mission of our company (democratizing access to happy homes and sustainable investments), funnel optimization, growth, and shaping a ubiquitous Resident brand. Your mission is to develop a best-in-class leasing product that drives lease conversion, puts Residents at the center and helps drive operational margin through software and automation.  

Leasing a home quickly, efficiently, and providing a great Applicant experience is critical to our success and Investor happiness. If you enjoy building innovative digital experiences to enable renting a home, facilitating a smooth move-in process, and mitigating risk and fraud while also solving complex operational and regulatory problems then this role is perfect for you.

To be successful, you have excellent product and design sense, strong communication skills, and are able to constantly shift between strategy and day-to-day tactics.  You are highly analytical with a keen ability to tease out insights (customer and technical) and validate assumptions through qualitative and quantitative research. Ideally, you have familiarity implementing 3rd party risk and fraud solutions at scale and have demonstrated success driving new (0-1) consumer grade product initiatives.

  • How do we decrease the time to lease a property consistently? How can we be the best leasing product in the market?
  • How do we optimize the leasing process via self showings, background checks, income verification?
  • How do we manage fraud? How do we prevent bad actors from trying to lease our homes?
  • How do we create an amazing experience as a resident moves along their leasing journey?
  • How do we optimize communication with residents via existing and new channels?
  • How do we make the security deposit process and move in really easy?
  • How do we predict, adjust, and manage rent? How do we build a state of the art revenue
  • management system?
  • How do we make our operational teams highly efficient? How can every ops partner manage hundreds or thousands of applicants and residents?


  • Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of our leasing experience
  • Evangelize the vision of your product within the company
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and data science resources to build and ship high quality, impactful products and features
  • Exhibit sound product judgment and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving goals 
  • Establish deep relationships with your business partners and customers, translate their input into actionable requirements for engineering and execute
  • Partner with analytics to understand our leasing funnel deeply and opportunity areas
  • Own your area’s metrics end-to-end, proactively identify issues and opportunities, and surface learnings to drive unit economics and growth
  • Champion your products in-house and be an influential partner to Leasing Operations. 


  • 5+ years experience building software as a Product Manager or equivalent
  • 1+ years experience within PropTech, FinTech, Real Estate, or Trust and Safety (preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated track record of launching new products and features end-to-end, from research, planning, implementation, and launch to analysis and iteration
  • Demonstrated success shipping across omnichannel experiences (native, mobile web, web, etc.)
  • Appreciation for human-centered design processes, including thoughtful questioning, empathy, testing, and the ability to move from insights to solutions
  • Enthusiasm for close partnerships with designers, engineers, other PMs, and the broader team
  • Ability to handle the complex ecosystem in which we operate (multiple end user types, a complex business)
  • Demonstrated success in a high-growth, operationally intense environment
  • Ability to tell a persuasive story and convey information in a digestible format
  • Proficiency with analytics & experimentation tools, such as Fullstory, Snowflake, User Testing
