Our Data and Analytics team is currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join us!
As Vanta’s first Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for laying the foundation for a best-in-class analytics function. You’ll partner closely with our product team and business stakeholders to ensure that our analytics stack and processes meet the business needs today with an eye towards the future.
What you’ll do as a Senior Data Analyst at Vanta:
  • Maintain and deliver a regular report on the domain of the enterprise you won
  • Write SQL pipelines to automate most of your reporting demands
  • Conduct and manage business-enhancing analytical projects:  defining and predicting churn, specifying and building a client view, mapping quantitative opportunities in the product waterfall, CAC/LTV breakdowns
  • Own the data and metric definitions of your embedded domain
  • Be a data and analysis expert for your team
  • Develop and drive our technology driven data governance efforts
How to be successful in this role:
  • Have at least four years of experience working with data as an analyst
  • Deep experience with data visualization
  • Intense curiosity about data, the world, where they match, and why they do or don’t
  • Domain expertise for embedding in the company: whether product, sales, marketing, operations, or security
  • Executive communication skills.  You can tell a compelling story about the status quo through data
  • Professional experience with statistics and analytical techniques.

About Vanta
We started Vanta in 2016 as Equifax had lost every American's social security number, Home Depot had leaked its customers' credit card numbers to hackers, and Facebook admitted that it irresponsibly sent user data to third parties who tried to influence the US election. It was clear that security and privacy had become mainstream issues, and that we all increasingly relied on cloud services to store everything from our personal photos to our communications at work.
Vanta's mission is to be the layer of trust on top of these services, and to secure the internet, increase trust in software companies, and keep consumer data safe.
We do this by building an automated head of security for technology companies, and we use that system to both help a company secure itself and to prove their security to others.
