The role
Pusher, a MessageBird company, powers connection. We are developer tools specialists inventing realtime APIs to power communication and collaboration apps all over the world. Our easy, reliable platform provides developers everything they need to build scalable and interactive apps. If you read the Washington Post, send email with MailChimp, collaborate on inVision, or order food on DoorDash, you are using Pusher every day.

Our user base is growing astronomically and we are building with them in mind. We now need someone to take on ownership of our marketing website including our expert documentation and tutorials; someone to help the team drive forward demos, user resources and evangelism programs through exciting and engaging design. This role will bring their technical expertise to our already successful developer engagement team and work alongside the product engineering team to maximise the user experience. 

What You’ll Bring

  • Someone who is passionate about technology and is excited by the idea that her/his work will impact thousands of end-users worldwide.
  • At least 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Your skill set includes an excellent technical understanding of Javascript and CSS.
  • A strong sense of ownership.
  • A strong communicator (in English & in general). Effective communication is the key to keep improving as a team. 
  • Exposure to task automation tools (NPM, Webpack, Grunt, etc.) and building intuitive sites which work seamlessly with CMS platforms (WordPress, Prismic, Contentful)
  • Ability to write a test for code (unit/integration tests)
  • Understanding of implementing marketing automation and tracking technologies
