What you can do for Expel

  • Scale our interdepartmental integration strategy from the ground up
  • Help our departments get the information they need to make ever-better decisions and drive constant improvement in efficiency and accuracy
  • Design, develop and implement business management systems and integrations with 3rd party applications by collecting and defining product requirements, including performing analytical investigations, system improvements and building automations
  • Anticipate and respond to needs before problems arise
  • Ensure comprehensive, up-to-date, and accurate documentation of data architecture, data flows, and integration of systems

What you should bring with you

  • Experience working with business systems like CRMs (Salesforce Preferred), Marketing Automation Platforms (Marketo Preferred), ERPs (Intacct Preferred), GLs, and associated technical plumbing, ideally in cloud SaaS environments
  • Ability to run cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Strong project management skills to drive accountability 
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams fostering a local sense of systems sovereignty without breeding silos.
  • Experience with the design and architecture of data flows through third party cloud SaaS applications
  • Experience delivering large cross-organizational projects like technology migrations, new product launches, deployment of business applications that have substantial business impact
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and application project management
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or a commensurate set of life experiences

Additional notes

The base salary range for this role is between $110,000 USD and $158,400 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.

We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.

Our headquarters is in Herndon, Virginia, however our team is fully remote, and we have full support for remote interaction. We realize that while there is benefit to in-person interaction, good people don’t all live in Northern Virginia.

At Expel, we ask our crew to provide their COVID-19 vaccination status because it’s helpful to understand this data at a company level and we expect that customers, partners, and conferences will start asking us to attest to the vaccination status of our people.
