As Conviva is expanding, we are building a new product that gets us into a new marketing segment. We are looking for a seasoned architect/staff engineer to lead this new innovation.

What you get to do
  • Design and implement orchestration systems by using frameworks like K8s, Airflow, Docker etc. to manage Conviva Platforms
  • Design and implement ETL pipelines by using one or many of the open source frameworks
  • Lead critical technical decision making with collaboration
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Solve engineering challenges in cost reduction, reliability, scalability and flexibility
  • Provide positive culture influence over other team members with code quality, initiatives and execution
What you bring to the role
  • BS or above in CS or related field
  • Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, data structures and algorithms
  • 3+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, and/or C++
  • 3+ years of experience of Technical expertise in one or more big data technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Spark, Hadoop, Flink, Kafka, Hive, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Strong desire to work in a rapidly growing company and make is a success
  • Experience in performance tuning, analysis over distributed systems
  • Experience building massively scalable data infrastructure using commercial and open-source tools
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines
  • Have passion and enthusiasm for big data technologies as well as building cutting edge solutions
  • Preferred: experience working with remote teams
  • Preferred: Experience with SaaS
  • Preferred: open source contributor
  • Preferred: Spark on Kubernetes, Airflow or other workflow management tools
