What you get to do:

• Design and develop data infrastructure layer to serve data requests from web applications or external facing API services
• Design and develop the API layer for these data requests
• Design and develop API rate limiting and health monitoring
• Design and develop the reports or dashboards to visualize the API usage and system health

What do you bring to the role:

• Good understanding of HTTP technology and RESTful API architectural style
• Proficient in one of the following languages: Typescript, Python
• 3+ years of experience in backend development (API, micro-services)
• Experience in one of the backend frameworks (django, express, koa, flask)
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Plus: Experience in GraphQL and asynchronous API design
• Plus: Experience in Serveless computing
• Plus: Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI specification
• Plus: Experience in data engineering
